Ugly Raleigh Landmark

At the State Fair Grounds, we have a 1950's era arena called Dorton Arena. It looks like a stack of Pringles.

But it's there; still in use.

We love the theater. There are two theaters here that get touring companies: Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham gets newer shows.

But a little bit older shows appear here in Raleigh at the Memorial Auditorium. It's a lovely building that has a couple of stages.
